Known Precautions and Warnings :

Caspofungin Acetate interacts with Tacrolimus
Monitor tacrolimus blood concentrations and adjust dose accordingly.
Caspofungin Acetate may reduce serum levels of Tacrolimus.

Quinupristin/Dalfopristin interacts with Tacrolimus
Use with caution. Monitor patient response and watch for side effects. Adjust therapy if needed.
Quinupristin/Dalfopristin may inhibit the metabolism and increase the serum concentration of Tacrolimus.

Tacrolimus interacts with Chloramphenicol
Monitor TACROLIMUS level and renal function; adjust dosage when starting or stopping CHLORAMPHENICOL.
Resulting In: nephrotoxicity Chloramphenicol may increase the serum levels of Tacrolimus and increase the risk of toxicity.

Tacrolimus interacts with Clotrimazole
This interaction applies to CLOTRIMAZOLE TROCHES. Monitor renal function and adjust TACROLIMUS dose accordingly.
Resulting In: nephrotoxicity Clotrimazole may increase the serum levels of Tacrolimus and increase the risk of toxicity.

Tacrolimus interacts with Cyclosporine
Avoid this combination. When switching from 1 drug to the other, seperate administration time by at least 24 hours.
Resulting In: nephrotoxicity Concomitant administartion of Cyclosporine and Tacrolimus may cause toxicity of both agents.

Tacrolimus interacts with Danazol
Monitor TACROLIMUS level and renal function; adjust TACROLIMUS dosage as needed.
Resulting In: nephrotoxicity Danazol may increase the serum levels of Tacrolimus and increase the risk of toxicity.

Tacrolimus interacts with Diltiazem HCl
Monitor TACROLIMUS level when DILTIAZEM is started changed or stopped. Adjust TACROLIMUS dose as needed.
Resulting In: neurotoxicity Diltiazem HCl can increase the serum levels of Tacrolimus and increase the risk of toxicity.

Tacrolimus interacts with Metronidazole
Monitor TACROLIMUS level and adjust dose when starting, changing or stopping METRONIDAZOLE.
Metronidazole can increase the serum levels of Tacrolimus and increase the risk of toxicity.

Tacrolimus interacts with Nefazodone HCl
Monitor TACROLIMUS level when NEFAZODONE is started or stopped. Adjust TACROLIMUS dosage as needed. Use an alternative to NEFAZODONE such as Paroxetine or Sertraline.
Resulting In: nephrotoxicity Nefazodone HCl can increase the serum levels of Tacrolimus and increase the risk of toxicity.
