Colchicine interacts with Erythromycin
Observe the clinical response of the patient. Monitor COLCHICINE levels and decrease the dose as necessary.
Resulting In: Colchicine toxicity Erythromycin may increase the serum levels of Colchicine and increase the risk of toxicity.
Cyclosporine interacts with Colchicine
Closely observe patients for signs and symptoms of CYCLOSPORINE toxicity. If an interaction is suspected and both drugs must be used, adjust the dose accordingly.
Resulting In: diarrhea, Cyclosporine toxicity, Myalgias, increased creatinine, Increased lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), Nephrotoxicity Concomitant administration of Colchicine and Cyclosporine may increase the risk of Cyclosporine toxicity. Concomitant u
