Carboplatin interacts with Aldesleukin
Avoid this combination.
Concurrent use of Aldesleukin with Carboplatin can increase toxicity of organ systems.
Carboplatin interacts with Phenytoin Sodium, Prompt
Monitor PHENYTOIN levels and adjust dose as necessary.
Carboplatin may reduce the serum levels and pharmacological effects of Phenytoin.
Carboplatin interacts with Warfarin Sodium
Carefully monitor anticoagulant factors during and after CARBOPLATIN therapy. Adjust WARFARIN dose as necessary.
Resulting In: increased bleeding tendencies Carboplatin may increase the anticoagulant effects of Warfarin Sodium.
Stavudine interacts with Carboplatin
Monitor for adverse effects from this drug combination. Advise patient to report any tingling, burning, pain or numbness of hands and feet.
Resulting In: Peripheral neuropathy Concomitant use of Carboplatin and Stavudine may increase the risk of developing peripheral neuropathy.
